It's how you pack the Medusa, like all the other packs made in the same way that is important. It was designed that way. I don't know how much weight you are putting in, but it isn't designed or intended to carry high weights and perhaps you ought to look at a different pack with a more rigid back system. It is by far the most comfortable backpack I have ever owned, even with over 10 kg in it. Despite quite a bit of abuse it has only one small rip (about 5 mm long) that I patched with an off cut of an old pack and some glue. My only gripe is the colours. That blue! Yuk! and the light grey trim on mine is quite stained from sweat and sunblock. Highly recommended.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328741976993079344.post-43203952547678102902014-07-05T01:19:34.856-07:002014-07-05T01:19:34.856-07:00Nice one, any advice that saves us money is much a...Nice one, any advice that saves us money is much appreciated.

Thank you!Marc_1970https://www.blogger.com/profile/01383487467331810797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328741976993079344.post-90192586185028554492014-07-04T21:44:35.784-07:002014-07-04T21:44:35.784-07:00You can buy it from b&q £5 for 2.5 ltrs you h...You can buy it from b&q £5 for 2.5 ltrs you have to ask for it as they do not keep it on the shelf
I have found that meths seems to boil the water faster I think it burns hotter But when cost comes into it (unemployed ) I'll use bio eth Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07682054329365311839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328741976993079344.post-90568985265247127062014-07-02T00:17:09.112-07:002014-07-02T00:17:09.112-07:00I believe that is general knowledge with concern t...I believe that is general knowledge with concern to Meths. In some cases it is also dyed. The main additive has traditionally been 10% methanol, giving rise to the term "methylated spirits".Paul Lydonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03921616984975196688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328741976993079344.post-76373695422632481832014-06-28T09:21:38.538-07:002014-06-28T09:21:38.538-07:00Alpkit are a small company so I think they have to...Alpkit are a small company so I think they have to be careful how much they stock.Marc_1970https://www.blogger.com/profile/01383487467331810797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328741976993079344.post-26285893044697845602014-06-26T03:26:00.824-07:002014-06-26T03:26:00.824-07:00Thanks for the info. The Alpkit sleeping bags sell very quickly as they are far cheaper than similar specification sleeping bags. I can only suggest that you keep in touch with the Alpkit website to see when stock returns. If you sign up for their newsletter they also sometimes have sales in their warehouse where you can go along and pick up a slight second Alpkit 600 for around £70. But these seem to be very rare occasions.Marc_1970https://www.blogger.com/profile/01383487467331810797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328741976993079344.post-44091545415098501472014-06-25T08:03:50.734-07:002014-06-25T08:03:50.734-07:00You say the price is good, but don't say how m...You say the price is good, but don't say how much.
